- Robert Fripp and Tool’s Adam Jones are considering reviving a side project they started and abandoned five years ago. Blabbermouth cites a Pulse of the Radio report indicating the pair met up in London to discuss their joint album.
- Leonard Cohen has delayed his European tour due to a back injury. A statement from his publicist indicates Cohen has been instructed to undergo four to six months of physical therapy, but “Doctors have confirmed that Mr. Cohen is otherwise in terrific shape, thanks to years of exercise and careful diet.”Legendary jazz saxophonist John Dankworth has died at age 82 after a a brief illness, the Guardian reports. The British musician, who was knighted by the Queen in 2006, became known in the 1950s for his work with the Dankworth Seven before going on to work with Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald and scoring major television and film projects.
